We saw an owl last night. We think it was stalking our cat who had just caught a mouse. Morena did two rounds around our house with the mouse in her mouth and was kinda showing off. This is the first owl I think I have ever seen in person. Today i'm eating the breakfast of champions... salty almonds, cheddar cheese and a Pepsi.

I found a kitty last night that got hit by a car and has a broken leg. She's still outside my door crying so I'm waiting for the Arizona Humane Society to come swoop her up. I was scared she'd be dead by this morning. She looks JUST like my stray cat I adopted so I was sorta freakin out when I first found her. I feel sad for her, but THANK GOD it's not my lil lady!
that aint an owl... it's the lachusa
La Chusa is part of the Hispanic folklore. It was a winged female figure resembling an owl that takes people's souls away when they're close to dying. If you whistle, and La Chusa returns the call, according to the myth death is near. You would know she was near by the beating of her wings on one side of the house
