NPR had a pretty interesting story about Everett Ruess. I had never heard of him before and it kinda reminded me of Christopher McCandless (Into the Wild). If you are bored at work like me, then read the story-he was only 20 when he disappeared. The woodblock prints he did I lifted from here I always find it intriguing when young people have such passion and drive. I wish I had found something I was so passionate about when I was younger, still really haven't found anything that keeps me awake at night. Maybe i'm just lazy?

In his book about McCandless, Krakauer has a chapter about Everett Ruess. He wrote it before they found the remains, so it's all speculative about the possible causes for his disappearance. Krakauer includes letters written by both men and they were indeed very similar. I think it's terrible that he was murdered and no one knew all this time.
I didn't know that, thanks for the info. I hardly ever read an actual book, i can read one chapter at a time-my head goes wild and I can't stay focused ha...I hope you guys will hangout when you are living here we can camping!!!!!!!!!
