This is the room where Gram Parsons died at the Joshua Tree Inn. R.I.P.
If you look closely at the photo above (right) that line in the middle is the San Andreas Fault.
We hit up Joshua Tree Park on the way to LA Friday. Click on the pics for all their glory."We've all got wheels to take ourselves away
We've got the telephones to say what we can't say
We all got higher and higher every day
Come on wheels take this boy away
We're not afraid to ride
We're not afraid to die come on wheels take me home today
So come on wheels take this boy away
And when I feel my time is almost up
And destiny is in my right hand
I'll turn to him who made my faith so strong
Come on wheels make this boy a man
We're not afraid to ride
We're not afraid to die come on wheels take me home today
So come on wheels take this boy away
Come on wheels take this boy away"

your photos are rad cindy! glad you had a good time.
thanks so much guys!!!
Remember on 3's Company when Chrissy would laugh so hard she would snort? I just snorted! There is nothing worse than accidentally stumbling across someone's makeshift bathroom while you're out camping!
But really, Cap Rock is where Gram's 'cremation' took place. People have set up little shrines and grafiti and all that. We stopped there for lunch and found the spot on accident.
