Ya know what happens when you try to drink one night a week? It ruins your SATURDAY because you drink enough on Friday for all the days you didn't drink during the week. We checked out this dive bar we had never been to on 7th ave called The Rite Inn. Wait, I think that's what it's called. I thought it was pretty cool but they only take cash and I had none. Luckily this war veteran/bull riding guy next to me bought me a few jack and cokes. Only thing bad with that.. I had to listen to him talk for 20 min's straight. Now I know how people feel when I talk a lot (which happens quite often). I also tend to say silly things and scare people off whether it's thru email or in person.. argh! I don't mean to-it's all innocent-sometimes tho I should put my foot in my mouth. Oh the reason for this rant is you see that photo above? Classic...that was the veteran/bull riders toothpick and beer.
I had to go pick up my car from the night before so I stopped by the street fair for a bit on 7th ave even tho I felt so shitty-I stayed an hour and had to go home and sleep. Ran into Nick and Mandy. Then I hungout with Brandi and Christian at their shop Go Kat Go I'm wearing my favorite Harley Tank..I have a nice lil collection of vintage Harley tank tops. I gave myself a haircut because I am too cheap to go to a salon HA! Now I look like a lil page boy. Did I mention that Go Kat Go has awesome stuff and a couch that I lust after?
It's really hard to get a good pic of Nicks bike.. it's SO freaking long and shiny.
Those lemons are REAL!!!
Joe's tattoos are pretty crazy. I think the craziest I have ever seen.. a girl getting SHIT ON? WTF!

Had the same experience on Friday, drank a weeks worth in one night.
where is the new go kat go?
Hey Emily! I hope you had a nice bday. The new Go Kat Go is on 7th ave across from Retro Redux ..
ah hell. i really wanted to make the fair! glad you managed to get out though.
Man...looks like you've got some fun stuff goin on down in the desert...and warm enough for a tank top already! I can see why you wouldn't want to move back to Chicago...
Haley, it's pretty rare that fun stuff goes on here-there's a lot of fun/cool nature things to do and exploring but Culture wise it's lacking. it had to have been about 80 degrees here on Saturday. It's the 115 degree days that make me want to move. ;o)
