you should check out the old V200 diesel locomotives from Germany- they look like a giant VW Microbus... and a few of them are being restored these days.
nice! i just watched some youtube videos with them and looked at the google image search. they Do look like VW bus's crazy. I love when people turn old trains into houses as well. Thanks for the heads up
